Big Apple Farms is dedicated to breeding "Great American Saddlebreds". This dedication can be seen in the selection process for our broodmares and sires. Our bloodlines are full of the "New Yorker" lineage. This line of horses has proven to be some of the most potent Saddlebred producers ever.
This careful planning before breeding insures that foals will start with impeccable pedigrees at birth. After birth, all our foals are imprinted during the first minutes of their life. We follow this up with light daily handling until weaning. This quality of contact between human and horse carries over into their adult life, developing a foal that has a natural bond with human beings.
The combination of our breeding and early training produces breathtaking Saddlebreds that are not only beautiful and athletic but also very sensible throughout their adult life.

BigAppleFarms.com is pleased to announce the birth of our latest foals, a colt named "Buster Hall" and a filly named "Linda Carol Hall".
Buster is out of "I'm Sweet Stuff" and by our stallion "Waverly Hall". The colt is a glowing red chestnut with flaxen mane and tail. He was born at 6:30 am on February 27th. Buster's gallery is ready to view.
Linda Carol is by "Waverly Hall" and out of the mare "The Evening News". The filly is solid black from head to tail. She was born 11:15 pm on April 7th. Linda Carol's Gallery is also ready for viewing.
